Application Engineer (m/f/d) for North America
full-time / permanent / starting immediately
We are continuing to expand and are looking for technicians (m/f/d) in the field of application engineering! You will work in our international team, where you will be responsible for providing technical support and advice to our customers in the window and door industry. You will plan and conduct training courses independently. This also includes coordination with machine, fitting, and profile manufacturers. A central part of your work will also be hotline support, which you can provide from your home office. In addition, you will support the sales department with product presentations and trade fair appearances and work together with specialized colleagues from the field of machine control, especially when setting up machines.
A central component of application technology is customer-oriented cooperation. Customer requirements are analysed and precisely defined at the start of every project. Further tasks are:
- Independent implementation and support of IT Projects
- Technical support and consulting for our customers
- After-sales service and hotline support
- Participation in product presentations and support of the sales Team
- Participation in trade fairs and other industry Events
- Collaboration in project management
We are looking for:
- Technical experience in the field of windows, doors, or facades
- Sound IT knowledge and a good understanding of digital solutions
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
- Very good communication skills and ability to work in a team
